Horse-trading charges
The Congress has hit back at CPI leader AB Bardhan for making allegations of horse-trading on the party.
Speaking on NDTV, Congress spokesperson Jayanti Natarajan challenged Bardhan to come up with evidence.
Leaders of small parties like the National Conference too denied that they had been approached. However, they acknowledged that political bargaining was becoming shrill ahead of the trust vote.
Omar Abdullah, President, NC said, ''We didn't know we were worth Rs 50 crore.''
Former Attorney General Soli Sorabjee has also said that it's not just regional parties who are demanding sops in exchange for supporting the government.
