Markets Close 4% up.
It was a good week for the Indian market with positive global cues. Analysts on CNBC TV18 feel the short and intermediate trends for the market are now up. The weekly figures were, Sensex was up 4%, Nifty up 3.3%. The CNX Midcap index was up 2.5%, BSE Smallcap index up 1.2%. BSE Metal index up 9.3%, BSE IT index and BSE Bankex index both up nearly 5%, BSE Capital Goods index up 4.2% and BSE Healthcare index up 4%.
