Rupee closes lower, bonds higher
Rupee closed lower as custodial banks were said to continuously buying dollars to meet demand from foreign investors. The spot rupee ended lower at Rs 39.58 per USD as against its previous close of Rs 39.52. The widely traded 7.99%, 2017 paper finished higher at Rs 100.72 as against its previous close of Rs 100.64.
