Spicejet in advanced stages of talks with Venture capatilist WL Ross;plans to raise $ 100 million soon

Spicejet in advanced stages of talks with Venture capatilist WL Ross reoprts CNBC-TV18 quoting sources. It was earlier approached by Kingfisher but didnot accept their proposal. Spicejet feels Kingfisher can compromise on brand and change business model of Spicejet. Spicejet is making losses of approx Rs 1 crore everday. Spicejet laibilities in the last 3 months are close to Rs140 crore. Spicejet plans to raise $ 100 million soon; talks with investors are on.
