Since AmiBroker can be used with many data sources directly, it can be used a tool in parallel with existing software, to provide extending charting, analysis and system testing capabilities. The one time cost to purchase AmiBroker can pay for itself when you make better trading decisions from more complete analysis of the data.



For FT/Trade users, the knowledge base of signals and trading systems has been made available to AmiBroker users with utilities developed by advanced users. This allows users to apply the powerful charting and backtesting capabilites to Ft/Trade signals. More recently, an advanced optimization capability has been establlished as an add-on to AmiBroker to give new life to some old FT/Trade signals, updating them to current market conditions.



Many of the Metastock indicator and trading formulas have been converted into AmiBrokers AFL, making these capabilities available within AmiBroker.
