Singapore wants Indian Companies to use Singapore as a plat form to enter Global markets and this is happening, Satyam computers has its Global hub in Singapore, and
Many Indian companies are following suit. According to Singapore government figures, there are about 3,000 Indian enterprises in Singapore, using it as a hub for their global businesses.

Why do Indians like Singapore?

Singapore has close connections with India for centuries,Indians specially from south India Tamil Nadu came in 18th century to trade, and have been instrumental in developing Singapore economy, today more that 8% of Singapore population are people of Indian origin (PIO) and there are about 273,000 Indians — professionals and skilled people — living in Singapore on what are called long-stay visas. And that’s not counting the immigrant population or people on permanent resident permits.

that’s actually beginning to make sense. According to recent figures,

This make India's more comfortable in Singapore, here the Indian temples are as old as 200 years there is one temple in Little India which was constructed in 1821.

India companies should make to best use of the Singapore offerings because, it has lot of value in it, for example China has Taiwan, Hongkong to leverage on and to use the countries global infrastructure, we know that the product value is more if it is from Taiwan/Hong kong compared to China.

On the same lines India has to use to Singapore Effect
